Riding School

Our riding school offers regular private, group and theory lessons for all ages and experience levels. Whether you are just starting out, are an experienced rider bitten by the Icelandic bug or have competition dreams, we want to provide you with the education to meet your goals and needs.

Our school horses have been selected and trained for their temperament and gaits such that our students have a fun and safe experience. We believe that by teaching our students correctly from the beginning we can create well rounded, independent and horse welfare oriented riders who can achieve their goals with the Icelandic Horse. We have been very successful with riders with a variety of aspirations, from creating lasting memories on the trail, to assisting Nationally Ranked champions and sending groups of young riders to the North American Youth Championships, we want to see you become the rider you dream of.

Our riding school operates on a quarter system, with students signing up for a dedicated time slot for the entire quarter. Each quarter is three months and includes around 10-12 lessons per quarter. Every month there is an opportunity for Riding School participants to participate in fun rides and Horsemanship classes. There are currently very few spots open in our riding school program. Private Lesson: $85/lesson*

Group Lesson: $50/person/lesson**
